Overview
Buzzza ("we", "our", "us") is a beekeeping management app developed by zZz Bees LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Hive & Inspection Data: Information you enter about your hives, yards, inspections, and actions. This data is stored locally on your device.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates for yard waypoints, only when you explicitly grant location permission.
- Camera Access: Used solely for QR code scanning and capturing inspection media. We do not access your camera in the background.
- Photos & Media: Inspection photos and videos you choose to attach. These are stored locally on your device.
Data Storage
All your beekeeping data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud servers that store your personal data. Your hive records, inspection history, and media remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.
Third-Party Services
- Mapbox: Used for map views in yard management. Mapbox may collect anonymized usage data per their own privacy policy.
- Expo/EAS: Used for app updates and build distribution. Expo may collect basic device and crash analytics.
Your Rights
Since your data is stored locally, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete all app data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. You can export your data at any time using the app's built-in export functionality.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or on this page.
